On 21 November 2025, Winley Technology, together with the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Highways Department (HyD), was honoured with the Hong Kong ICT Award – Smart Transport Gold Award for its Intelligent Pavement Assessment System (iPAS). Presented by the Government’s Digital Policy Office, this award is the most prestigious recognition in Hong Kong’s technology sector.
Winley’s Chairman Mr. Banting Sze, Director Mr. KK Chan, and HyD Regional Highway Engineer (New Territories) Mr. Chan Wai Tak accepted the award on stage, marking an important milestone for the partnership.
In his remarks, Mr. Sze thanked the judging panel for their recognition and expressed sincere appreciation to the HyD for its continued trust and support. He noted that the award reflects the HKSAR Government’s openness to innovation and highlights the strength and potential of Hong Kong’s young R&D talent. Looking ahead, Winley will continue to advance iPAS with the goal of establishing an internationally recognised “China–Hong Kong Standard” in road infrastructure assessment and management, bringing Hong Kong’s smart innovations to the world
