From March 11 to 15, 2026, the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva was held in Geneva. Winley, together with the Highways Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government, participated in the exhibition with its self-developed Intelligent Pavement Assessment System (iPAS). Standing out among cutting-edge innovations from around the world, iPAS was awarded the Silver Award.
iPAS has been highly acclaimed by the international jury panel for its cutting-edge technology, tangible real-world societal benefits, and pivotal role in advancing smart city and intelligent transportation development. This recognition is a testament to our technological strength and innovation.
Ms. Bernadette Linn, Secretary for Development of the Hong Kong SAR, fully affirmed the participation of Hong Kong’s innovation projects: “These projects not only enhance the quality and efficiency of public services and improve cost-effectiveness, but also set a good example for the industry, driving the wider adoption of innovative technologies across the sector and jointly developing Hong Kong into an international infrastructure centre.”
This award is not only a recognition of iPAS’s technological strengths, but also a testament to the solid progress of Hong Kong’s innovation in going global.
